Sure! How about something clear and to-the-point, like "Final Meet Details & Champs Info – Turner, Homestead, and Volunteering

Hey Team!

This week is our last dual meet before Champs! We’ll be swimming Homestead, and I want to give you all the details for both days.

Tuesday’s Meet – Turner
We will be at Turner on Tuesday. We’ll meet in the same team hangout area we used two weeks ago.
Address:

2211 S 55th St, Kansas City, KS 66106, USA

Please arrive before 5:15 PM so we’re ready on time.

Thursday’s Meet – Homestead
On Thursday, we’ll be at Homestead.
Address:

6510 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS, USA

Please note there will be a lot of walking and several stairs, but there are also ramps around the pool area if needed. The parking lot is very small, so you may need to get there early or expect a bit of walking.

Please arrive before 5:15 PM so we’re ready on time.

Champs Volunteer Sign-Up
Champs are on July 14th and 16th. As a reminder, Tuesday will be for Novice swimmers (ages 8 and under up to 13-14). Thursday will be for Level 2 and A, covering ages 8 and under all the way to 15-18. You can only swim at Champs if you achieve a Novice, Level 2, or A time for that event, so let your coaches know if you plan to attend any part.

Party
We’ll have our team party on Friday, July 17th! I’ll share more details soon.

I’m also sorry to inform you that the T-shirt info was delayed. If you want a T-shirt, please come on Tuesday or email me with your child’s T-shirt size. I’ll let you know the cost and distribute them at the party on Friday—or you can have your coaches hand them out if you can’t make it.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me. Let’s finish strong and get ready for an awesome Champs!

About Us

MoKan Swim League

We are a strong parent run swim league that includes a mix of swim teams from City Parks and Recreation departments, a golf and country club, and health and tennis club.

During the months of June and July each year, weekly dual swim meets are hosted, for 5 weeks. Tuesday night meets for kids age 10 and under and Thursday night meets for kids 11-18 years of age.

We offer multi-level time achievement milestones to recognize each swimmers progress during the season (Novice, Level II and A times).

Culminating the season, we host a championship meet where all teams compete for ribbons, trophies and “bragging rights” over a two day period. (Timed Finals)

USA swimming (1) rules and regulations apply, however the league is not registered or sanctioned by USA Swimming. We secure separate insurance coverage similar to the insurance coverage provided by USA Swimming.

WHY CHOOSE US: The MOKAN Swim League believes USA Swimming rules provide the best summer swimming development program for swimmers of all ages. Swim meets include sprint, distance, individual and relay events. Swimmers may participate in up to 5 events (3 individual and 2 relays) per meet.

(1) USA Swimming is the national governing body for swimming in the United States. USA Swimming is an affiliated member of Federation Internationale de Natation Amateur (FINA), the international federation for aquatics. USA Swimming is a member of the national governing body (NGB) of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), and organizes competitions and leagues to develop swimmers up to and including the Olympic trials.
