I wanted to make sure this got out to you. Sorry for the late email

Thursday’s Meet – Homestead

On Thursday, we’ll be at Homestead.
Address:

6510 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS, USA

Please have your swimmer at Homestead by 5:15 PM. There's quite a bit of construction around Mission Road, so please allow extra travel time. If you're coming from the south, I suggest taking Nall or Roe up to 75th or 83rd Street, then over to Mission Road to avoid some of that construction. Parking is very limited. If you arrive before 5, you might get a spot in the Homestead parking lot. If you arrive later, Indian Hills Middle School, on Mission Road, is the easiest and safest place to park.

Indian Hills Middle School, 6400 Mission Rd, Prairie Village, KS 66208

Please remember to bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, chairs, and anything else you'll need for the evening. Please note, the black awning is a parent viewing area. Parents may sit there, but athletes are not permitted to sit under the awning. And we're still looking for volunteers. With only six lanes, we really need timers.

See you at champs

About Us

MoKan Swim League

We are a strong parent run swim league that includes a mix of swim teams from City Parks and Recreation departments, a golf and country club, and health and tennis club.

During the months of June and July each year, weekly dual swim meets are hosted, for 5 weeks. Tuesday night meets for kids age 10 and under and Thursday night meets for kids 11-18 years of age.

We offer multi-level time achievement milestones to recognize each swimmers progress during the season (Novice, Level II and A times).

Culminating the season, we host a championship meet where all teams compete for ribbons, trophies and “bragging rights” over a two day period. (Timed Finals)

USA swimming (1) rules and regulations apply, however the league is not registered or sanctioned by USA Swimming. We secure separate insurance coverage similar to the insurance coverage provided by USA Swimming.

WHY CHOOSE US: The MOKAN Swim League believes USA Swimming rules provide the best summer swimming development program for swimmers of all ages. Swim meets include sprint, distance, individual and relay events. Swimmers may participate in up to 5 events (3 individual and 2 relays) per meet.

(1) USA Swimming is the national governing body for swimming in the United States. USA Swimming is an affiliated member of Federation Internationale de Natation Amateur (FINA), the international federation for aquatics. USA Swimming is a member of the national governing body (NGB) of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), and organizes competitions and leagues to develop swimmers up to and including the Olympic trials.
