Parking

Parking at SMAC is limited during Championship meets, so please allow extra time to park and walk to the facility. If you arrive before the doors open, you may need to wait outside until athletes are allowed inside. Thank you for your patience, as it can get very busy.

Important Meet Information

  • TechSuits: Technical Racing Suits are not permitted for any MOKAN competition meets.Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a disqualification for each event untilcorrected.
  • All swimmers must shower before entering the pool for warm-ups. This is a facility requirement.
  • Parents are not permitted to sit with the athletes during the meet. Swimmers will sit in their designated team area with Turner. We will have coaches and parent volunteers with the team throughout the meet to help keep swimmers organized and make sure they are in the correct place at the right time.
  • This is the only meet where swimmers will not receive event cards for their individual events. They will only receive cards for relay events, so our coaches and volunteers will be helping swimmers get to their events on time.
  • Swimmers should report to the Turner team area as soon as they arrive.
  • This is a large facility, and we are grateful to be able to compete here. Please help us respect the facility by staying out of any pool areas unless directed by coaches or meet officials.
  • There will be some downtime throughout the meet, so please have your swimmer bring a book, cards, coloring supplies, or another quiet activity to help keep them entertained between events.
  • Please make sure your swimmer brings everything they need for the day, including their suit, goggles, cap, towel, water bottle, healthy snacks, and anything else they'll need to stay comfortable throughout the meet.
  • If you haven't had a chance to volunteer yet this season, we'd love your help! Volunteering is a great way to support the team and get a front-row view of the action while cheering on your swimmer.

See you on the deck

About Us

MoKan Swim League

We are a strong parent run swim league that includes a mix of swim teams from City Parks and Recreation departments, a golf and country club, and health and tennis club.

During the months of June and July each year, weekly dual swim meets are hosted, for 5 weeks. Tuesday night meets for kids age 10 and under and Thursday night meets for kids 11-18 years of age.

We offer multi-level time achievement milestones to recognize each swimmers progress during the season (Novice, Level II and A times).

Culminating the season, we host a championship meet where all teams compete for ribbons, trophies and “bragging rights” over a two day period. (Timed Finals)

USA swimming (1) rules and regulations apply, however the league is not registered or sanctioned by USA Swimming. We secure separate insurance coverage similar to the insurance coverage provided by USA Swimming.

WHY CHOOSE US: The MOKAN Swim League believes USA Swimming rules provide the best summer swimming development program for swimmers of all ages. Swim meets include sprint, distance, individual and relay events. Swimmers may participate in up to 5 events (3 individual and 2 relays) per meet.
